Show Your Stuff
One of the following activities can show what you have learned in your investigation.
Role play a community meeting. What would happen to your shorebird if development like a shopping mall or boat marina was proposed. Debate opposing sides.
Prepare a recovery plan for your species of bird.
Graph and map bird population ranges and population over time.
Do a field observation of nesting sites. Observe, record, and report bird behavior.
Prepare a press release and/or give an interview about your findings for the media.
Make a poster, written/oral report, video tape, multimedia project (Hyperstudio, Kidpix).
