For each experiment:

• Select equipment you will use in the lab.
• Mix chemicals you think will make the target substance that solves the problem.
• Record the chemicals you combine (reactants) and the results for each combination (products).
NOTE: Some chemicals will react but will not produce the target substance. Record all reactions.

Objectives for Chem Lab:
Name common chemical elements and compounds and their symbols.
Understand the relationship and describe the difference between reactants and products.
Use critical thinking and logical problem solving skills.
Identify basic lab equipment.
