Mary is married to Bill, who is a truck driver for a large trucking company. Bill is on the road a lot and usually is home only 2-3 days a week. Mary is a waitress at a local diner and has worked there for about 7 years.

Mary has not "felt" well for about 6 months. She has experienced a great deal of fatigue, some swollen lymph glands, and has lost about 6 pounds.

Mary has had a constant cough, and is experiencing some pain in her left chest.

Medical Footnote: Mary was admitted to the hospital Emergency Room twice during the last year with trauma to her head and upper body. She reported that both times "she had fallen down their stairs".
