Resource Evaluation Criteria

Websites recommended in the SCORE Science "Website Search" collection are evaluated on the following criteria. Sites are rated as Excellent (1), Good (2), or Fair (3) based on how well the site meets the criteria.

The website resource is...

• accurate (secondary source) OR authentic (primary source)
• grade level appropriate
• interesting
• deep and varied
• user friendly
• consistent with California standards
